Déjà Vu

dejavu

Déjà vu is a French term meaning “already seen.” It was given its name by Emile Boirac (1851-1917), a French psychic researcher in his book L’Avenir des Sciences Psychiques (translated as The Future of Psychic Sciences). Webster’s Dictionary defines déjà vu as “the illusion of remembering scenes and events when experienced for the first time or a feeling that one has seen or heard something before.” It has been found that at least 79% of the population claim to have had a déjà vu experience. Studies have shown that déjà vu seems to happen most often in the age range of 15 to 25 years old.The occurrences seem to happen less frequently as people get older.

        DREAM SURVEY
               RESULTS

dejavu 2

Most people who remember their dreams upon waking are focused on what took place in the dream and the emotions they experienced during it. They do not necessarily pay attention to whether the dream was in color or black and white. It is hard to believe that in this day and age, with the assault of technological advancements in high-definition color televisions, computers and films that are offered in 3-D with intense colorization, that anyone can dream in black and white. It has been difficult for dream researchers to understand how dreams work and whether or not people dream in color. Psychic Library conducted its own survey about dreaming in color and polled its library cardholders.

                         HOMEOPATHY

 homeopathy

Homeopathy, also known as homeopathic medicine, is considered by some to be a controversial alternative medicine system. The system was founded by a German physician, Dr. Samuel Christian Hahnemann, in the early 19th century. It is based on the theory that “like cures like” — a disease can be cured by the use of ingredients that produce similar reactions in healthy individuals; and “law of minimum dose” — the use of the lowest dose of the substance will produce positive cures. In fact, in many preparations, there are no traces of any molecules from the original substance.

     INTERPRETING YOUR DREAMS

Dreams that occur during sleep are unique and are connected to an individual’s own life experiences, emotions and thoughts. In this section of the Channeler, a dream theme will be described and explained in each issue, in the attempt to shed light on why we dream the things we do. Understanding your dreams will deepen the connection with your mind, body and spirit. In this issue we will look into dreams about Being Abandoned. Dreams about feeling or being abandoned tend to be very disturbing and distressing until you take a look at your past experiences and your current waking life situations to understand why these dreams of abandonment are occurring.

      LABYRINTH HEALING POWERS

Labyrinth

A labyrinth is a single geometrical winding pathway, usually acorn shaped, varying in size and used for personal, psychological and spiritual renovation. It is a sacred space with healing powers that can assist in meditation, prayer, self-awareness and connection with the Divine. Labyrinths have existed for more than 4000 years and have been an integral part of many ancient cultures and religions. During the time of the Crusades, people created and used labyrinths to symbolize the physical pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
