Personal Year Calculator 2014

Your personal year number in numerology gives you a snapshot of the upcoming or past calendar years. It is based on your date of birth and the year you want to know about. Each personal year is part of a one-through-nine-year cycle, beginning when you are born and repeating again after every ninth year. Here is how to find your personal year number for 2014. Follow the calculation example given below.

The first step is to reduce the month and day of your birth to a single number. So if your birthday is on March 3, add the number of the month (3) to the date (3). The single number is now 6 (3 + 3 = 6). NOTE: If your birthday number adds up to the Master numbers 11 or 22, reduce them to 2 and 4, respectively.

Then reduce the year that you want to know about to a single number. The year 2014 becomes the number 7 (2 + 0 + 1 + 4 = 7). Next, add the 2 numbers together (6 + 7 = 13, then reduce the number 13 to a single number (1 + 3 = 4). Based on this formula this person is entering a Personal Year 4.

Now that you know how to calculate your personal year number, it can give you deeper insights into your future, as well as give you insights into your past, which have impacted your life today.

Personal Year 1 — Personal year 1 is the beginning of your next 9-year cycle. It is the year of new beginnings, adventures and major changes in your life. What you do now will bring great benefits in the future. Prepare to take on leadership roles this year, but avoid stubbornness, hastiness and recklessness. Your independence will be an important part of this cycle, as you learn to rely on your own resources. If you choose to ignore opportunities that are clearly placed in front of you, they may not present themselves again until the start of the next 9-year cycle.

Personal Year 2 — Personal year 2 is a year in which you choose a slower pace than the previous one. Remember, it is okay to rest. It will rejuvenate your energies and outlook. You might find yourself being much more accepted and popular within many social circles. Old friends may re-appear to rekindle your relationship. This may open opportunities for you to find yourself in the public eye. Self-expression is heightened in this 3 personal year, especially in the areas of the arts and verbal and written skills. This may be a year that all rational thinking with regards to business and finances is thrown out the door. However, to your benefit, the following year you may find a solution to the financial turmoil.

Personal Year 4 — Personal year 4 is the period of time to focus on creating solid foundations in your life. Simplicity is the key to life this year. The previous year’s celebrating and over-indulging needs to be put on the back burner. Those times are just memories. It is very important during this year to take charge of your health. Physical exercise plays an important role. Perhaps consider martial arts and yoga, as they are wonderful tools for self-discipline. It is a time to be grounded and level headed. Look for projects or business dealings that are viable and without too many risks. You may find that hard work is often boring and monotonous, but stick with it and it will eventually pay off. Laziness is not acceptable. You need to get and stay organized in order to accomplish your goals. You have finally come to realize that hard work is required to maintain your lifestyle.

Personal Year 5 — Personal Year 5 holds exciting changes and personal freedom. With change on its way you will have to learn to be a bit more flexible. Let go of things that might be impeding your progress and growth. This can cause some stress, so try to stay positive and keep a good attitude. Do not be afraid to actively seek out new opportunities as they are presented. Act fast on them, but trust your intuition. Take advantage of the new friends you will make in your personal or business life. You will experience new directions and personal growth, which will come easily. Be prepared for a year of traveling and expanding your horizons. Toward the end of the year you may look back and say: Where did the year go? Most important for your personal year 5 is to stay focused and keep your energies working together on the same path.

Personal Year 6 — The theme for your personal year 6 is to focus on personal responsibilities, family, service to others and your overall well-being. It is important that you take care of your mind, body and spirit. Remember that you will need to take care of yourself first before you can be any help or support to others. You may want to enroll in a class that deals in the arts, which you have put off for a long time. This could be the year that you finally get that exciting personal makeover to rejuvenate you. It is also a time to be grounded and stay well balanced. In accomplishing this, family, friends and loved ones will turn to you for guidance, comfort, solace and courage. You may find that some relationships you have been hanging on to are burdensome or waning. Spend the time this year nurturing the relationships that are give and take and positive. Focus your attentions on personalizing your home with things that bring inner warmth and make it a comfortable sanctuary. It may be as simple as displaying an old photograph.

Personal Year 7 — Personal year 7 is one of great reflection — both inwardly and outwardly. You will find yourself taking time to renew your spiritual or religious beliefs. You will attain a higher consciousness through practices such as meditation, prayer or introspection. This is a year to take a look at your past experiences so that you do not repeat mistakes or impede your future growth. You might find this year gets more exciting as it goes along. You are going to learn the difference of being alone and being lonely. Your alone time is very important, as you will explore philosophies that will give you a better self-awareness and get you closer to the true meaning of your life. Your introspectiveness will draw others to you.

Personal Year 8 — This is the personal year in which you will reap the benefits of all your hard work. You will attain power and leadership in your activities and relationships. This is a year of major decisions and accomplishments. This personal year 8 you will find yourself extremely busy. Seize opportunities in business dealings and act on them. In this cycle, people will take notice of your professional strengths and you will find the spotlight shining directly on you.

Personal Year 9 — Personal year 9 is the final year of the 9-year cycle, a year of completion and endings. Because of that, this is not the year to start a new business or relationship.

You need to take an inventory of your life and its past triumphs and foibles. It is also a time to let go of the people, places and things from the past that have held you back. In short, out with the old and in with the new, for example, your career, home or a relationship. Letting go can be very difficult, but you will later realize that it was necessary. Allow yourself to do some internal and external housecleaning. You will find that many burdens will be lifted off of your shoulders. Go out and commune with nature, as it will relax you and prepare you for your next 9-year cycle. You should also focus on trying to be more compassionate, loving and giving this year, for you will reap great rewards.

Tarot Card for the Week of 12-15-13

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. With the Eight of Cups as the tarot card for the week of 12-15-13, this might be the week to reevaluate the path you have been on. If things have not been going according to plan, this is the time to change the course. You need to realize that materialism is not the answer; you will need to tap into your spiritual self for guidance and fulfillment. Reflect on your lifestyle and outlook on life; change those habits that do not serve you well.

UPRIGHT:
Eight of Cups, Minor Arcana, indicates leaving something behind, a turning point. This card indicates that you are looking for deeper meanings and a more intense joy to what has been a somewhat mundane life. You have a desire to be somewhere else or to leave a relationship that is not bringing you emotional fulfillment. You may be feeling that there is not much left to give of yourself. Walking away at this point may be the best option. You want to escape, but will better serve yourself if you find the answers within. You must discover your true spiritual needs and put less importance on your material possessions. You realize that all the materialistic things you have acquired will not make you truly happy. This card indicates that you have grown tired of your old ways and you need to find some way to fill that void. You may feel disenchanted and frustrated with the lack of progress. This is a time for you to look for some form of spiritual fulfillment. Once this has been achieved, positive changes will happen.

REVERSED:
There is depression and emotional scarring. You are closed off from others. You have come to a point in your life where you are numbing your feelings and emotions. This may lead to some type of substance abuse, gambling or some other form of addiction. It is time to reach out for help. You are also solely out for extremes of pleasure, self-indulgence and gluttony. You also may not know which is the right direction to turn — there is a part of you that is comfortable in the current circumstances you are in; however, fear is holding you back from exploring new opportunities. This is the time to realize that you have come to a point in your life where you recognize your limitations and what can and cannot be fixed. Stop wavering and make a different choice. You have found it easier to walk away from problems than to confront them. You have created distractions, rather than deal with reality. Also, you are in denial about your financial resources. Reflect on whether you have done everything you could to help yourself out monetarily.

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. With the Hierophant as the tarot card for the week of 12-1-13, this might be the week that you will need to call upon a trusted mentor or counselor for inspiration or some unbiased advice. Also, ask yourself if you are gossiping a little too much without having all of the facts? Are you breaking away from traditions or conventional ways? Has a person shown up to keep you on track this week? The Hierophant can also represent the search for one’s identity and spiritual connection. This may be the week for you to get in touch with your spirituality and belief systems, especially in light of the holiday season. What seasonal rituals are significant to you? The Hierophant is a card that also speaks to the many choices available to you in your career, relationships  and some new directions that you can take in your life. Try not to dig in your heels and avoid change. This will inhibit your personal growth. Become inspired to move forward individually, staying true to yourself, but as a part of the collective whole. At the end of the week, you decide if the Hierophant card fell in the upright or reversed position for you.

MAJOR ARCANA NUMBER 5

ASTROLOGICAL SIGN or PLANET: TAURUS, JUPITER, MARS

UPRIGHT:
The Hierophant card, Major Arcana, also referred to as the Pope, represents a mentor, teacher, spiritual counselor. He symbolizes marriage, unions, romance, meaningful relationships. He shows great mercy and goodness to all. He is very much like a teacher or a priest. He serves as a great inspiration. The Hierophant is certainly not one to buck proper authority. He is a conformist. He is a staunch and worthy defender of the tried and true. This card may be an indication that you could use the direction offered by a group, depending on your needs and situation. Embrace traditions and rituals, but always think for yourself or call upon someone you consider a mentor to guide you.
REVERSED:
The Hierophant card signifies poor advice, single-mindedness and unconventional behavior. The card may refer to a rebellious individual, a nonconformist. It may show a departure from religious institutions, traditional universities or other dogma. It can also represent someone who is so narrow minded that he has become bigoted, with a disregard for any view other than his own. This card may also be a warning that you should not partake in gossiping or slandering. There is a tendency for manipulation in a relationship and any distortion of the truth causes discord.

Tarot Card for the Week of 9-1-13

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. The Two of Cups is the tarot card for the week of 9-1-13. The Cups are also known as chalices or goblets. They correspond to hearts in a playing card deck and are associated with the Water element and the color red. The suit is associated with Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. The Cups are symbolic of emotions (positive and negative), love, relationships, romance, happiness, intuition, psychic abilities and spiritual connections. The Two of Cups is a card of romance, new beginnings and commitment. It also reflects good communication with a business partner. This week the Two of Cups may indicate that a rocky relationship may be coming to an end or through honesty, agreements can be made. If you are in a relationship and feel you are the only one participating, this might be the week that your partner finally steps up and joins in. Love will conquer all. If you are beginning a new relationship you must take off your blinders and see beyond perfection in your mate. You may just happen to reveal a few flaws. This card asks you to look inward this week, especially if there has been difficulty in a business or personal relationship. Have you been domineering, suspicious, or selfish? These traits could be causing some problems. This is definitely the week to keep things in balance.

UPRIGHT:
Two of Cups, Minor Arcana, is a balancing card representing healthy relationships, whether in romance, business or personal friendships. In romance, this is the card of commitment and the beginning of intimacy. In business, this is the opening of communication to a long-lasting business partnership where neither puts their needs in front of the other. As far as personal friendships are concerned, who do you trust more with your personal secrets? This card represents the energy that love creates. The first step in creating love is to love yourself first. You need to love yourself as you want others to love you. It is time to remove any masks you might be wearing.

REVERSED:
Although you may have been hurt before in a relationship, this is now the time to let go. Your reluctance will end in isolation. This card in reverse may indicate that you are living too much in a fantasy world and you are not in true touch with what is needed to make a true commitment. You must take a look — your current relationship may be one-sided. But do not hold back feelings. Do not be afraid of communicating, what is left unsaid can be misunderstood. Without learning these skills, this card may indicate a possible break up or divorce. The key to success is being available for each other — don’t think for your partner.

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. With the Five of Pentacles as the tarot card for the week of 8-11-13, this may be the week that you are feeling left out in the cold, even though it is the middle of summer. Are you feeling anxious over your finances? Have you felt that you have been on a losing streak, rather than a winning one? Just make sure you are being realistic about your situation. It is important to choose your path wisely. There may be obstacles; however, learn to rely on the help of someone who is dear  to you. Also, if you have not been feeling well, it is probably only temporary. As long as you keep the faith and stay positive, situations in all areas of your life will improve, even if things are not going well right now.

UPRIGHT:
Five of Pentacles, Minor Arcana, indicates money troubles. There has been a mismanagement or a misappropriation of your funds. You may owe considerably more than what you have in the bank. Be careful of your credit cards. This situation can lead to mental strife or ill physical health. There is a lack of self-confidence and self-esteem. Reflections on the past are causing you to feel empty, sad and lonely. This is the time to look for spiritual answers. Keep the faith that your circumstances will change. Seek out financial opportunities, however, this is not the time for risk taking or leaving your current place of employment. Old ideas of being able to buy love or people no longer apply.

REVERSED:
There is hope. Your self-confidence is rebuilding. You have become honest with yourself and have regained your empathy and concern for others. Challenging situations abound for you but as always, hard work will get you through. Your troubles will help you become stronger. This is a time to remember that what goes around comes around. Also, don’t let your pride keep you from seeking help. There is a karmic lesson waiting for you. Look toward the future. You may find that you will regain your wealth, both emotionally and materially. You might receive a grant or monetary gift to give you a little push. It may not come quickly, so you need to be patient. This card may also be a warning about an impending accident, due to the fact that you have not been entirely focused on your goals.
