Even though things are going well, this card warns to be wary of complacency, self-indulgence, taking advantage of others and false hope. Try not to negatively get in your own way. Never forget where you came from and always project an attitude of gratitude. It is also a time to be financially responsible, as you might not be as secure in that area as might think. Be especially cautious when funding any new projects ? this could drain you financially. At the end of the week, you decide if the Nine of Cups fell in the upright or reversed position for you.

UPRIGHT:
Nine of Cups, Minor Arcana, symbolizes satisfaction. Contentment and happiness abound. You appreciate all of the challenges you have faced that finally got you to this joyous place in life. Problems from the past are now the lessons learned that allow you to finally be at peace. This is a time for enjoyment of the simple pleasures. There is a communion with the body and nature. All of your senses are heightened. This is the time for dreams to come true and to enjoy inner security and contentment.

Smugness and self-indulgence can be your downfall. There is also disappointment that your dreams will not be met. You may be taking advantage of friends. Boasting will have a negative impact on the people closest to you. Greed and not doing things in moderation will bring on illness and financial loss. This is not the time to become complacent.
