The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. With the Queen of Pentacles as the tarot card for the week of 4-16-17, this might be the week that an individual, especially a woman, is there to help you in both personal and financial matters. But do make sure she truly has your best interests at the forefront. The card also represents smooth sailing throughout these currently shaky financial times. However, if you are feeling insecure, moody or neglectful, this is the time to channel more positive energies and use your intuitive abilities to move forward. If all the pressures from the previous week have brought you down physically, this is the week that your health will start to improve.

UPRIGHT:
Queen of Pentacles, Minor Arcana, is kind, loving and motherly. It also may represent a mother figure in your life. The Queen does cherish the finer luxuries in life. She is shrewd in business. She is sensual and open with her feelings. Her keen business sense and her organizational abilities serve her well. She works hard at everything, feeling that it will benefit her in the future. The card also indicates that you are independent, yet you are able to offer nurturing to others. She is able to take care of her commitments and those of family and friends who need her support.
REVERSED:
You may be putting your career or material possessions ahead of the love and attention your family needs from you. The Queen has suffered a traumatic childhood and she may be harboring insecurities, which have turned her into a self-centered woman. She also is jealous, envious and suspicious of others, but underneath it all she may just feel empty and alone. She is totally focused on material possessions. She is alone and her only focus is to reach the top no matter who she tramples on to get there. Money in the bank is more important than friendship. She is an individual who tries to buy anybody to protect herself. This individual is grandiose. This card may also refer to someone who is causing strife in your social life and is manipulating others to thwart your plans.

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. With the Devil card as the tarot card for the week of 3-26-17, it serves as a reminder that it might be time to ask for help from above or advice from others in solving personal problems. The Devil card may seem threatening and alarming on the surface, but it does bring a message about the importance of focusing your energies on positive thoughts and actions. Perhaps you have been thrown a bit off course in your life and this is the time to get back on track and change for the better. This might be the week to acknowledge that you have been enslaved by your own fears and desires. You must face your demons head on. Will you be able to give up some of your stubbornness and materialism? You can break some of those negative habits. The card also reminds you to keep temptation at bay and that moderation and balance are the keys to enrichment. At the end of the week, you decide if the Devil card fell in the upright or reverse position for you.

MAJOR ARCANA 15

ASTROLOGICAL SIGN or PLANET: CAPRICORN, SATURN

UPRIGHT:
The Devil tarot card is often misunderstood, primarily because the Devil is involved. It is not directly representative of evil. It can relate to a person?s focus on material possessions and physical appearance. A hopeless and helpless feeling can surround this card. You are tricked into feeling possessed, as if by a hidden force, which is causing harmful and negative thoughts and behaviors. You have an addiction or obsession to obtain earthly desires. You are willing to take any measures to get them. You have become inflexible and obsessed. The spiritual side of life is neglected because of the attachment to the physical world. There is a desire for material things and a selfish presence. This is adversely affecting you and your relationships. Unwanted actions and self-bondage to something are often experienced, which hinder personal growth or health. You are unwilling to accept responsibility for your negative actions. As the saying goes, “The Devil made me do it.”
REVERSED:
In the reversed position, the Devil card can signify divorce and detachment. It can also represent evil, greed, or emotional blackmail. You are your own worst enemy and you have put yourself into an emotional imprisonment. You may be overindulging yourself and have been gluttonous and greedy, but there is a hefty price to pay. You have been abusing yourself and others for too long. You have put blinders on and have been unable to see your weaknesses and those of others. On the positive side, it can indicate overcoming adversity or enlightenment. Confront your demons head on. It is also a time for making apologies, where appropriate. You may also find that you are released from bondage to material possessions and from being an emotional hostage. New views about your place in the Universe may be revealed.

Tarot Card for the Week of 2-14-16

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. With the Judgement card as the tarot card for the week of 2-14-16, this might be the week for new beginnings and an end to some struggles you have been facing. It tells us that we are to take our lessons and learn from them, which will reap many benefits. Positive energies are around you, so make the most of them this week. Trust you own judgement and intuition, which might mean that you must readjust your long-term thinking. Change is on the horizon, perhaps in the workplace, in a relationship, a relocation or in a spiritual awakening. It is time to break free from ties that are no longer useful to you. Sometimes in order to move forward it is necessary to clean up the wreckage of your past. This is the week to stop pitying yourself ? accept your past, let it go and move on. At the end of the week, you decide if the Judgement card fell in the upright or reversed position for you.

MAJOR ARCANA NUMBER 20

ASTROLOGICAL SIGN or PLANET: SCORPIO, CANCER, PLUTO, MOON

UPRIGHT:
The Judgement card embodies those forces that require you to be accountable for your actions. Truths are revealed, mysteries are unraveled and responsibility is assigned. Judgement unveils outcomes and marks the end of things. While this is a time to properly place guilt, it is also a time for atonement and forgiveness. Ultimately, the process of judgment should lead to freedom from errors made in the past and a fresh start with a clean slate. To that end, the Judgement card actually promises the start of a new journey on which you can apply what you have learned from your past. This is a good time for a career change. You are on the verge of making a most important decision. A positive outcome is imminent. The card is also an indication of a spiritual awakening, which will positively effect your mind, body and spirit. You will obtain a clearer meaning to your life’s purpose. You will take great joy in your accomplishments and experience clear thinking, which will bring on positive changes and a personal rebirth and growth.
REVERSED:
In the reversed position, the Judgement card can signify ill health, a fear of death, loss, failure to find happiness, change and denial. The card indicates that it is time to stop feeling sorry for yourself. Your self-condemnation will bring you nothing. Self-doubt, shame and guilt are unfounded and are holding you back. This is the time to move on from a bad choice you have made. The reality of the need to change causes unnecessary fear. However, that fear is holding you back from releasing yourself from these negative situations. You are using your spirituality as an avoidance to grounding yourself in the real world. Brace yourself from unwanted repercussions. In fact, watch your back, there may be someone out for revenge. Half measures avail you nothing. There is the possibility of legal actions not working in your favor. This is not the time for hasty judgments of yourself or others. It is the time to take stock of your life and make plans for your future using new ideas and environments. You may have confrontations in business and relationships because you have been pointing the finger at others when you should have been pointing it at yourself.
