Tarot Card for the Week of 9-22-13

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. The Swords are also known as blades, knives or athames. They correspond to spades in a playing card deck and are associated with the Air element and the color indigo. The suit is associated with Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. The cards are symbolic of battles within you, challenge, struggle, physical and moral conflict, action and change. With the Three of Swords as the tarot card for the week of 9-22-13, this may be the week to review your relationships and prepare to leave behind those that are bringing you sadness. Beware of interferences from another individual who may be contributing to the riff in a relationship. That interference could cause a separation or divorce. However, through all of this havoc, you may find a new beginning and come out of it smelling like a rose. This is now the time to embrace new ideas and put them into action. But think deeply before you speak out or make any important decisions. Any inner conflicts you may be experience will begin to subside. If you suffer a loss of some kind, be patient with yourself, and always remember that time heals all wounds.

?
UPRIGHT:
Three of Swords, Minor Arcana, is a card of heartbreak. Much sadness is felt from a separation. Feelings of betrayal are evident. There might be unexpected breakups or separations that will overwhelm you. Keep in mind “no pain, no gain.” Once you get past the pain, new chapters and opportunities will open in your life. You might find a stronger, deeper and more loving relationship.
REVERSED:
A good sign that negativity is draining out. All of the pains, sorrows and losses are starting to pass. Broken relationships begin to repair themselves or new ones appear. It may be your position to make peace ? apologies are appropriate, however, think them through. You are willing to slowly let go and start a new path. This is also a time to learn the healing process.

Tarot Card for the Week of 1-27-13

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. With the Empress Card, Major Arcana, as the tarot card for the week of 1-27-13, this might be the week you might be recognized for your past efforts and be rewarded for them. You might also find that good fortune and joy are following you this week. Are you relying on your instincts or feelings or are you allowing others to control you? This is also a period in which to look at domestic stability and to realize some plans taking shape. Is your sadness and bitterness bringing you down? What family problems might be lying in front of you. Beware of a female with some negative energy who may be visiting this week. Take a realistic look at your financial and personal gains and losses. At the end of the week, you decide if the Empress card fell in the upright or reversed position for you. ?

MAJOR ARCANA?NUMBER 4

ASTROLOGICAL SIGN or PLANET: LIBRA, VENUS
?
UPRIGHT:
The Empress card is the earth mother, symbolizing fruitfulness, fertility or the beginnings of a new venture. She embodies all that is nurturing and wholesome. She cares for life on a grand scale. She understands that life?s simple pleasures bring the most joy, although she enjoys the finer things, as well. She is sensual, earthy and generous. She can represent creativeness in some people and a broadening of horizons. The card indicates growth, prosperity and joy. Also, there is a message of patience ? any delays in life are only temporary. You will have good health, domestic stability and happiness and you will reap the benefits of your efforts. Expect great outcomes. In fact, your rewards will be greater than you ever anticipated.

REVERSED:
In the reversed position, the Empress card can signify your indecisiveness of you or another individual, an inability to take action, overly dependent on others and infidelity. It can also symbolize possible infertility, lack of material resources or poverty.? This might not be the best time to have a female connection or relative visit your home ? tempers might rise to a fever pitch. This individual might want to take over the household. This card may also indicate that you are at a time of stagnation and your personal growth has come to a standstill. You may feel emotionally drained and sense a lot of negative energy around you.
