Make sure you maintain an even keel and strive for stability, anything short of this will rock the boat. In conclusion, stay on your path and do not let others sabotage your plans and goals for the future. Stay on the straight and narrow roads and keep overindulgence and excess to a minimum.

Tarot Card for the Week of 4-20-14

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. With the Major Arcana Lovers card as the tarot card for the week of 4-20-14, it not only speaks about love between couples, but it asks you to examine your other relationships, such as business partners and close friendships. The Lovers card also represents choices you can make about the direction your life can take, particularly regarding parts of your life that you are dissatisfied with. Examine those choices diligently to make sure that you have chosen the correct path. This might be the week to go with your intuition involving relationships ? either continuing or severing. Get honest with yourself about your true commitment in your relationships. Are you comfortable with your actions? If there has been discord in your marriage, this might be the time to seek professional counseling.

MAJOR ARCANA NUMBER 6

ASTROLOGICAL SIGN or PLANET: GEMINI, MERCURY, VENUS

UPRIGHT:
The Lovers card indicates both the most powerful of unions and the most challenging of conflicts that humans must face. On one hand, the card embodies love and union on a cosmic scale ? a love so strong, so inherently good that it actually makes the lovers better, more than they really are. All of the elements are there for the perfect union. The Lovers represent all-powerful unions and the elements that create and sustain them. Because of the strong bonds, all trials and tribulations will be overcome. When this card appears, it may also indicate that you may be facing two different paths to take in your relationship. It is important to choose your path carefully, and most of all, follow your intuition and heart.
REVERSED:
In the reversed position, the Lovers card can signify distrust or manipulation in a relationship, being in an unfulfilled relationship or having unrealistic expectations. There is a possibility you have made poor choices. Do not make hasty decisions in a relationship. There can also be jealousy, lack of morals, standards and values, unreliability and irrationality. This card may also indicate frustration in a current relationship, which is caused by indecision. It is also an indication of friction in the relationship and some counseling may be a good option. Stagnation in seeking help may resolve itself in a separation or divorce. Be wary of possible toxic emotional relationships.

Tarot Card for the Week of 4-13-14

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. With the Seven of Swords as the tarot card for the week of 4-13-14, this might be the week you realize that some of your financial investments have not panned out to your expectations. This may have occurred due to the fact that you may have received some bad advice or that you have deceived yourself and others. It is now time to be hyper-vigilant and move forward with caution. You might get an opportunity to reconnect with friends from the past. You also might find an object that had been lost for some time. It is time to look inward to understand why some venture recently failed and to not place blame on other people. However, things may not been in your power to control; therefore, just rethink different approaches. You may be feeling that your plans are going awry right now, but just hang in there, there will be improvements. Make a point to be upfront this week and not deceitful, as honesty is the key to making your plans come to fruition. Don’t let your own denial get in the way of someone taking advantage of you.

UPRIGHT:
The Seven of Swords, Minor Arcana, signifies deception and sneakiness. The truth remains hidden. Betrayal takes the forefront at any cost. Nothing is safe ? be it property, ideas, or governmental position. Often done with much secrecy and with the attitude of not being caught, you tend to live in solitude. However, there is a flaw. Someone will catch on. There is a temptation to run away from problems rather than face them. Slipping out of sight seems like a good way out. Subtlety and diplomacy are being used cunningly. Keep in mind, this may not be you, but you can fall victim to such an individual.
REVERSED:
You may have been deceived or you were the deceitful one. There are feelings of confusion. This is a time for reflection on old behavior patterns. A desire for change is working its way in. Old ways of thinking and behavior patterns are difficult to change. Hard work is necessary to take the first step in a new direction. Apologies should be given. You are now having to face unwanted criticisms. If you take advice to heart from well meaning people, things will start to change for the better. It is time to let go of your old ways.

Tarot Card for the Week of 4-6-14

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. With the Death card, Major Arcana, as the tarot card for the week of 4-6-14, this is not the week of impending doom or death. It just might be the week that you can let go of some of your old thinking, beliefs or habits which will open the doorway for new beginnings that will create changes for the better. Part of letting go involves learning lessons from past mistakes. Make sure that you do not fight the new opportunities that are coming your way. You might also take this week to evaluate your relationships. You may find that some of them have been draining your energy. If that is the case, it might be time for you to let go. If you find yourself feeling depressed or stagnated, ask yourself if you have been giving 100 percent in your life. Try to reconnect with your own energy and passion for life. Do not let fear hold you back. The Death card can also be taken as a warning of bad news, an accident, turmoil or even the passing of someone you know.

THE DEATH CARD

MAJOR ARCANA, NUMBER 13

ASTROLOGICAL SIGN or PLANET: SCORPIO, MARS, PLUTO

UPRIGHT:
The Death card is not associated exclusively with the end of human life. The card is more about endings, which can include the completion of a chapter in your life, a turning point of some kind or a time of renewal ? all of which could bring about new and positive beginnings. It is time to focus on the important things in your life. Decide what things are no longer necessary to hold on to. It can also denote the end of a bad relationship or a change in status that can result in an unexpected, life-altering change. You may be resistant to change, but you must remember that it is for the best. Additionally, the card can indicate a transition point, the need to eliminate excesses and to let go of old ideas, problems and baggage. Keep in mind that it can also indicate the death of an ailing or elderly individual you may know.
REVERSED:
When the card appears in the reverse position it can point toward a refusal to change or an inability to move forward. You may be stagnated or feeling stuck, which may result in an agonizing time in your life. It also suggests avoiding the end of something, holding on to the past or a fear of the future. You may find that you are the one getting in the way of beneficial changes. Also, you may be experiencing mental and physical exhaustion and finding yourself in a period of feeling too listless to make changes.
