Tarot Card for the Week of 11-29-15

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. With the Death card, Major Arcana, as the tarot card for the week of 11-29-15, this is not the week of impending doom or death. It just might be the week that you can let go of some of your old thinking, beliefs or habits which will open the doorway for new beginnings that will create changes for the better. Part of letting go involves learning lessons from past mistakes. Make sure that you do not fight the new opportunities that are coming your way. You might also take this week to evaluate your relationships. You may find that some of them have been draining your energy. If that is the case, it might be time for you to let go. If you find yourself feeling depressed or stagnated, ask yourself if you have been giving 100 percent in your life. Try to reconnect with your own energy and passion for life. Do not let fear hold you back. The Death card can also be taken as a warning of bad news, an accident, turmoil or even the passing of someone you know.

THE DEATH CARD

MAJOR ARCANA, NUMBER 13

ASTROLOGICAL SIGN or PLANET: SCORPIO, MARS, PLUTO

UPRIGHT:
The Death card is not associated exclusively with the end of human life. The card is more about endings, which can include the completion of a chapter in your life, a turning point of some kind or a time of renewal ? all of which could bring about new and positive beginnings. It is time to focus on the important things in your life. Decide what things are no longer necessary to hold on to. It can also denote the end of a bad relationship or a change in status that can result in an unexpected, life-altering change. You may be resistant to change, but you must remember that it is for the best. Additionally, the card can indicate a transition point, the need to eliminate excesses and to let go of old ideas, problems and baggage. Keep in mind that it can also indicate the death of an ailing or elderly individual you may know.
REVERSED:
When the card appears in the reverse position it can point toward a refusal to change or an inability to move forward. You may be stagnated or feeling stuck, which may result in an agonizing time in your life. It also suggests avoiding the end of something, holding on to the past or a fear of the future. You may find that you are the one getting in the way of beneficial changes. Also, you may be experiencing mental and physical exhaustion and finding yourself in a period of feeling too listless to make changes.

Tarot Card for the Week of 11-8-15

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. With the Fool Card as the tarot card for the week of 11-8-15, notice the scene depicted in the card. The fool, who is a dreamer, is looking up with confidence; however, he is unaware of the cliff he is about to fall over. The cliff symbolizes his journey and the pitfalls he may encounter before reaching his goals. He represents change and new beginnings. For you during the coming week, have you thought through some of the changes and resolutions you are wanting to make in your life? Are you being practical about your expectations for the future? Are your ego and your desire for material goods getting in the way of your spirituality? Are you making your own choices or are you taking advice from others because it is easier that way? Be careful and aware this week of the consequences that may occur because of your decisions. At the end of the week, you decide if the Fool fell in the upright or reversed position for you.

MAJOR ARCANA, NUMBER ZERO

ASTROLOGICAL SIGN or PLANET: URANUS

UPRIGHT:
The fool card refers to a jester, not to someone who is foolish. It represents a dreamer, an idealist. The Fool desires to do great things, but is often unaware of just how difficult the process is. He must always be very careful of the choices he makes, remembering that knowledge is his ally. This card often symbolizes a new beginning, unrestrained optimism, spontaneity and curiosity. It is time to examine all options carefully before making decisions in your life.

Although the Fool may well indicate a lack of experience or a grasp of life?s pitfalls, it is equally true that his lack of experience leads him to believe that all things are possible, which can bring even impossible goals within his reach. From exploring new horizons in life to experiencing a new phase, the Fool card also symbolizes letting life take its course, as well as the negative implications of having to come to terms with the current condition one?s own life is in.

REVERSED:
In the reversed position, the card can signify risk taking, bad choices or decision making, hesitation and apathetic behavior. Your own vanity may get in your way. There is an overwhelming fear of the future. You may have a cynical outlook or reluctance and hesitancy. Do not take any risks or make snap decisions at this time. You may also be in possible danger.
