Tarot Card for the Week of 8-13-17

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. With the Chariot card as the tarot card for the week of 8-13-17, this may be the week you might be poised to be victorious in either a legal or personal matter. But are you willing to compromise? Be careful of getting involved in arguments, they can easily escalate and set you back. Don’t make mountains out of molehills. However, never accept defeat ? it is not an option. Use your competitiveness and enthusiasm as part of your plan for success. This is a time to check to see if you are balancing all the aspects of your life and emotions that are within your control. You might be surprised to find out that you may be taking a pleasurable, short vacation in the near future. At the end of the week, you decide if the Chariot card appeared in the upright or reversed position for you.

MAJOR ARCANA NUMBER 7

UPRIGHT:
The Chariot card, Major Arcana, represents victory and the personality traits required to attain it. Self-awareness and control are indicated. Courage, the ability to overcome fear and confront the unknown head on, are the primary ingredients of any victorious campaign. So is the force of will. The Chariot also signifies coming to other people’s aid. It can represent the healthy personality of someone who believes in himself, overcomes personal demons, someone who can take control of a situation and bring events to a positive end. In order to succeed it is important that you harness all the necessary energy. You will be more in control and able to stay on the right path. This card also indicates that you have learned many important lessons from previous mistakes.

REVERSED:
In the reversed position, the Chariot card signifies failure, a defeatist attitude, aggressive behavior, hostility and unexpected loss. There also can be a tendency toward addiction or revisiting past undesirable habits, self-indulgence, lack of self-discipline, decadence. There is a willingness to achieve your own goals at the expense of others. The card asks: Have you been using unnecessary force? Remember that road rage can cause a car accident. This card serves as a warning to keep your temper in check. There is a tendency to make small problems into larger ones. You may also experience your best laid plans falling apart. Be cautious.
