With the Strength card as the tarot card for the week of 1-12-14, this is the week to have confidence in yourself and in any ventures you may undertake. The Strength card is telling you to trust your gut instincts. Do not allow obstacles to get in your way. Face your adversaries, and if you see that other individuals are facing the same difficulties, use your inner strength to help them to steer clear. In your personal life, you may find that you need to reconcile with a partner or a loved one. Keep your attitude in check and do not abuse any power you may have. You must deal with others with patience, kindness and love. The Strength card is also a warning that an individual could be sabotaging your best laid plans. Keep reality in check and face your fears and obstacles head on with confidence.

With the Three of Swords as the tarot card for the week of 1-5-14, this might be the week to be honest with yourself about some of your relationships. If they have been stagnant, not growing or causing unhappiness, either try to repair the damage or just let go. If you choose to let go, it will be painful in the short term; however, in the long term you will most likely benefit with joy in moving forward. It may be possible that another individual may be influencing this discord. This is not a time to be overly emotional. Let yourself be open to change and new circumstances, and then you will experience positive outcomes. Stay focused and organized and do not let petty arguments get to you. However, if you are wrong, admit it. One of the key messages from this card is to remain level-headed and do not act too hastily. Aim for balance with your mind, body and spirit.
