Tarot Card for the Week of 7-27-14

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. With the Knight of Swords as the tarot card for the week of 7-27-14, this is not the week to make snap decisions. Take your time to sort out all of the options you can follow. You may experience some turmoil in your life right now, but rest assured that all will turn out just fine when the dust finally settles. Be patient and do not get in your own way. Do not rely on advice from those younger than you who do not have your best interests at heart. They might cause undo conflicts in your life. At this time, use your intuition to the best of your abilities and go with your gut feelings about those individuals who are surrounding you at this time. Maybe the best thing you can do this week is hold off on decision making involving goals or projects.

UPRIGHT:
The Knight of Swords, Minor Arcana, indicates an individual who has great communication skills and can be convincing, but can at times act impulsively and erratically. You need to watch out for people who may be acting inconsistently. This may be confusing to you because you don’t know if they are an enemy or friend. He has leadership qualities but at times can be tactless. He will stand up for his beliefs no matter what it takes. He is extremely logical, but has difficulty showing emotions and feelings. But once his heart is won over, he will defend you for a lifetime. He means well, but can be domineering and overwhelming. A new project could be in the works. Energy is high, yet the challenges and consequences go unnoticed. Communication skills are at their peak. You can drive the point home, easily overcoming obstacles. Don’t rush or cut corners ? this will have a negative impact.
REVERSED:
Beware of those getting in the way of your progress, creativity and intuition. These are people you need to recognize and stay away from as they will put roadblocks in your plans. Be cautious of a mischievous younger individual who is ready to challenge you at any time. Your drive can be your destruction. You have become impatient and impulsive in decision making. You have no direction, spinning your wheels and are driving others down with you. You need to pace yourself, rest and organize your thoughts. Prioritizing will bring success. If not, it will only cause chaos. You must take responsibility and not depend on others. Don’t worry if you trip up, it is part of the process. You are also frustrated, with an inability to sway others your way. You cannot control others. You need to let others make their own mistakes.

Tarot Card for the Week of 7-20-14

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. With the Tower card, Major Arcana, as the tarot card for the week of 7-20-14, this may be the week of change. It will be important to brace yourself for some irritating and troublesome situations in order to reap the benefits of positive outcomes and change. There is the possibility that you will feel you are at the point of hopelessness, but bear with it. This is the week to dig down to your core and get in touch with your humility and inner wisdom. Being a know-it-all alone will not serve you well. You may feel that relationships, a business, finances or career are crumbling, which may be due in part to unsteady foundations to begin with. It is your choice now to decide how to build a firmer one. Expect and accept the rapid changes in your life ? they are beyond your control. What has taken place in the past may be hindering your progress going forward. It is important to look at your own behavior and beliefs, as these may also be holding you hostage. This may be the week that you need to make that decision to implement a new start. If you suffer a physical injury, don’t overreact because it may not be as damaging as you think it is. Any feelings of being sabotaged are of your own doing. It is time to take a good look at yourself and determine if you are being your own worst enemy. Remember never to abuse any power or authority given to you. This is also the week to beware of any people who might be misrepresenting themselves to you. At the end of the week you decide if the Tower card fell in the upright or reversed position for you.

MAJOR ARCANA NUMBER 16

ASTROLOGICAL SIGN or PLANET: AQUARIUS, ARIES, MARS

UPRIGHT:
The Tower card represents those things you are unwilling to face but must or those things that you have no choice over. It indicates that something will be torn down or shattered violently. There is an indication that your ego may be deflated. You may suffer bankruptcy, severe conflict within your career, a devastating relationship loss, even a possible separation, divorce or imprisonment. Your life is in a state of upheaval. There will be a period of disorder, and there may be loss. Expect setbacks and emotional turmoil. However, there is a possible light at the end of the tunnel to relieve and free you. Even though you might find this overwhelming, the card insists that you make changes and look for the good in them. You may find yourself moving out of your current home and/or a change in occupations. Positive outcomes can occur from this card. Truths will be laid bare, revelations and breakthroughs are not only possible, but likely, and nothing spurs creativity like a good dose of chaos and confusion. In the end, it is likely that the replacement of what was lost in the fall of the Tower will be worth the loss.
REVERSED:
In the reversed position, the Tower card can signify a fear of change, staying in a rut, procrastination, caught in a bad situation, change avoidance and escaping disaster. You might have a loss of your job or financial setbacks. You must take responsibility for your actions. You have possibly misused certain power or authority that you possess. You may be blamed for things you have not done and you must face these allegations with courage. You may experience some changes in relationships. This is a time to take a look to the future and prepare yourself to change for the better. If you resist these changes, you are setting yourself up for a fall. You have no control over the outcome, however, there might be a last minute saving grace or epiphany for you.

Tarot Card for the Week of 7-13-14

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. With the Hermit card as the tarot card for the week of 7-13-14, this may be the week to step back and catch your breath. Hermit reminds you to reflect on what is most important in your life right now. You will find the answers deep within yourself. You may even benefit from some solitude at a tranquil spot. Beware of feelings of rejection, loneliness or being unwanted. If you let your ego get in the way, you may find yourself acting very foolish. Also, don’t be surprised if there is a cancellation or postponement of plans. At the end of the week, you decide if the Hermit card appeared in the upright or reversed position for you.

MAJOR ARCANA NUMBER 9

ASTROLOGICAL SIGN or PLANET: VIRGO, MERCURY

UPRIGHT:
The Hermit card, Major Arcana, denotes a need to have some space between yourself and the every day hustle and bustle of a busy world. It is necessary for the Hermit to retreat. Happiness for the Hermit requires seclusion, freedom from material wants and time for intense introspection. The answers cannot be found in the physical world. The truths he seeks are internal and spiritual. The Hermit is not arrogant or egotistical. His compassion is used to help others on their path. The distraction of a well-developed social life can only impede his quest for personal truths. Although not anything remotely resembling an extrovert, the Hermit does need to share time with others so that he can learn, teach, guide or be guided. The Hermit?s time spent with people depletes his energy quickly. This is a time that you may want to meditate, reevaluate the direction your life is taking and further develop your own spirituality.

REVERSED:
In the reversed position, the Hermit card signifies loneliness, self-pity, immaturity and acting hastily without thinking. It may indicate that you or someone you know is claiming to know more than they really do and is boasting to be the expert. You may be living in the past and refusing to look at your current situation and make changes. Perhaps you have isolated yourself to an extreme and you may be feeling very alone. Do not become so self-absorbed that you isolate yourself from your loved ones. On the other hand, you might have such an exaggerated fear of loneliness, that you are staying in an unhealthy relationship to avoid the emptiness. The card may also be an indication that you have set aside all the spiritual knowledge you have or that you have lost your spiritual self. Also, there is a lack of accepting the consequences of your behavior. This card may be asking if you are getting the best advice available from someone or are you being too arrogant to listen to those who might help you. You have become inflexible. Are you taking responsibility for your own actions or are you blaming the consequences on others? This may be a time to step up to the plate and face reality.

Tarot Card for the Week of 7-6-14

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. With the Justice card as the tarot card for the week of 7-6-14, this may be a good week to balance more than just your checking account. When making choices use wisdom and weigh all of your options. Which way will the scales of justice lean for you? If you are involved in a litigation, justice will prevail. This is the time to review your own actions and outcomes. Dig deep and handle any unsettling situations. The chips will fall as they are supposed to ? that is the law of karma. Do keep your eyes open with respect to others around you. There may be someone spreading untruthful statements about you. At the end of the week, you decide if the Justice card fell in the upright or reversed position for you.

MAJOR ARCANA NUMBER 11

ASTROLOGICAL SIGN or PLANET: LIBRA, SATURN, VENUS

UPRIGHT:
The Justice card signifies the principle that although things sometimes seem askew, the Universe is ultimately fair. You may not see or understand why things happen, but most people sense there is in fact a reason why, and balance exists even when you cannot see it. Justice denotes fairness and arbitration, regardless of who you are. At its purest, the forces embodied by Justice give you the power to see without bias and the courage to be accountable for your actions. This is a time to reflect on your decisions and actions and also to be aware of their long-term consequences. More importantly, you cannot be honest with others until you are honest with yourself. Be wary of those who have dishonest intentions toward you. Make sure that you are not acting in this way, as well. Faith will be tested at times. You have the tools and strength to fight injustice in your everyday life. All you have to do is use them. This card may indicate that there could be a legal settlement or decision, such as a divorce or financial litigation. Expect a fair judgment. If you have lied or deceived others, justice will prevail, and most likely, not in your favor.
REVERSED:
In the reversed position, the Justice card signifies unfairness, intolerance, conflict and dishonesty. Bias has a tendency to get in the way of fairness. Perhaps you will have a problem or confusion with a legal matter, unfinished business or documents. Avoid confrontations at this time. There could be a delay in a settlement due to corruption and deception. However, you must accept the consequences of your actions because once again, what goes around comes around. That is the law of karma. However, this card may be indicating that somebody around you has been taking advantage. There may be slanderous accusations made. This is the time to accept that things might not be going your way. But try to see and trust the big picture.
