Tarot Card for the Week of 2-23-14

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. With the Five of Swords as the tarot card for the week of 2-23-14, this might be the week that your past efforts and hard work will come to fruition. However, this success may result in an ending of a relationship or partnership. Keep up your guard as people are not always who they seem to be and may be looking out for their own personal gain. This card also asks you to take a look at your own behaviors. It is time to let go of fears and any feelings of low self-esteem. It may be warning of emotional upsets down the road. So trust you intuition.

UPRIGHT:
The Five of Swords card, Minor Arcana, represents ambition, but not in a positive way. It is the use of unethical ways to achieve victory. You may be the one who is behaving in this way, but if not, beware of some other individual who is power hungry. You may not care who you have stepped on to obtain success. This behavior has created hostile and strained relationships. Your lack of regard for others feelings has been put aside so that you could come out on top. Previous allegiances are broken due to your abuse of power.
REVERSED:
Gossip has taken its toll but the truth will be revealed. There may be an individual who is still present in your life who is preventing you from moving on. You might find this individual is making it difficult for you to pursue a new job or relationship. This person takes pleasure in seeing you stuck. You just need to resolve these toxic relationships. Don’t be afraid to be honest. Keeping yourself open to new ideas and relationships may be a good idea.

Tarot Card for the Week of 9-22-13

The tarot cards hold special meanings, warnings, characteristics and actions that may need to be taken in order to change your course in life. Keep in mind that some aspects are changeable and some are not. It is all up to you. The Swords are also known as blades, knives or athames. They correspond to spades in a playing card deck and are associated with the Air element and the color indigo. The suit is associated with Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. The cards are symbolic of battles within you, challenge, struggle, physical and moral conflict, action and change. With the Three of Swords as the tarot card for the week of 9-22-13, this may be the week to review your relationships and prepare to leave behind those that are bringing you sadness. Beware of interferences from another individual who may be contributing to the riff in a relationship. That interference could cause a separation or divorce. However, through all of this havoc, you may find a new beginning and come out of it smelling like a rose. This is now the time to embrace new ideas and put them into action. But think deeply before you speak out or make any important decisions. Any inner conflicts you may be experience will begin to subside. If you suffer a loss of some kind, be patient with yourself, and always remember that time heals all wounds.
